Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to JIME must comply with the journal's focus and scope as well as the author guidelines. Submitted manuscripts should demonstrate scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the fields covered by the journal.
All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct similarity checks before submission using plagiarism detection software. The editorial team performs plagiarism screening using appropriate plagiarism detection tools to ensure the originality of submitted works.
Each manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent expert reviewers. Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations to improve the quality, clarity, and scientific contribution of the manuscript.
The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editorial Board based on reviewers' recommendations. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for determining the publication schedule of accepted articles, taking into consideration the acceptance date, thematic relevance, and editorial planning.
