AUTHOR GUIDLENES
Author Guidelines
Articles or papers submitted to the Journal of Innovation in Management and Education (JIME) must comply with the following requirements:

Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.

Manuscripts must not have been previously published or submitted to another scientific journal or publication.

JIME publishes articles related to management, education, innovation, leadership, organizational development, educational technology, public policy, conceptual studies, theoretical reviews, book reviews, and other issues relevant to management and education.

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal website. Authors are required to log in before submitting their manuscripts. Submission guidelines can be found in the Online Submission menu. Registration and submission are free of charge.

Manuscripts must be between 4 and 10 pages in length on A4 paper size (210 × 297 mm), including figures and tables, and must not contain appendices. Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) according to the journal template.

The title and keywords should be written in the language used in the manuscript. Abstracts must be provided in both Indonesian and English.

The title should contain approximately 15 words, using Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, centered, and single-spaced, with 6 pt spacing after the title. The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit titles that are excessively long without changing their meaning.

Foreign terms appearing in the title should be written in italic format.

Author names should be written in Times New Roman 10 pt, bold, single-spaced. If there are multiple authors, their names should be separated by commas and identified with superscript numbering corresponding to their affiliations.

Authors must provide their affiliation, institutional address, postal code, and email address using Times New Roman 10 pt.

Articles must begin with an Abstract. The abstract must not contain figures or tables, should be written in Times New Roman 10 pt, single-spaced, and should not exceed 250 words. The abstract should clearly describe the purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study.

Keywords should consist of three to eight words or phrases, separated by commas, written in Times New Roman 10 pt, and should accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
Manuscript Format

The manuscript must be written in a two-column format with a spacing of 4.22 mm (0.17") between columns, justified alignment, Times New Roman 10 pt font, and single spacing.

Page margins should be:

Top: 19 mm (0.75")

Bottom: 43 mm (1.69")

Left: 14.32 mm (0.56")

Right: 14.32 mm (0.56")
Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should contain the following main sections:

Introduction
-
Main Content (Methodology, Literature Review, or related sections)

Results and Discussion
-
Conclusion
An Acknowledgment section may be included after the Conclusion. References should appear at the end of the manuscript.

The section titles Introduction and Conclusion are mandatory. The Main Content section should explain the research methodology, although it is not required to be titled “Methodology.” Results and Discussion may be presented in a combined section or as separate sections.
Heading Format

A maximum of three heading levels is permitted:
Level 1 Heading
Level 1 headings should be written in Small Caps, centered, and numbered using uppercase Roman numerals.
Example:
I. INTRODUCTION
The sections Acknowledgment and References should not be numbered.
Level 2 Heading
Level 2 headings should be italicized, left-aligned, and numbered using uppercase letters.
Example:
A. Research Design
Level 3 Heading
Level 3 headings should be italicized and numbered using Arabic numerals followed by a closing parenthesis.
Example:
1) Data Collection: The text continues immediately after the heading within the same paragraph.
Tables, Figures, and Equations

Figures and tables must be centered. Large figures and tables may span across both columns. Figures may be presented in color.

Figures should be numbered using Arabic numerals. Figure captions must be written in Times New Roman 8 pt. Single-line captions should be centered, while multi-line captions should be justified. Captions should be placed below the corresponding figure.

Mathematical equations must be clearly written, numbered consecutively, and accompanied by necessary explanations.
References and Citations

Page numbers, headers, and footers should not be included. Hyperlinks and bookmarks will be removed during the publication process.

Citations and references must follow the IEEE Citation Style.

Citations should be numbered sequentially using the format [1], [2], [3], ... according to the order of appearance in the manuscript.

References from Wikipedia, personal blogs, and non-scientific websites are not permitted.

Authors are encouraged to use recent and relevant references. The majority of references should be published within the last five years.
