Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Articles or papers submitted to this journal must comply with the following requirements:

  1. Manuscripts may be written in either Indonesian or English.

  2. The manuscript must not have been previously published or submitted to another scientific journal or periodical.

  3. Manuscripts accepted for publication include works related to policies, research, theoretical/conceptual reviews, book reviews, and other information associated with engineering and computer science issues.

  4. Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal website. Authors are required to log in before submitting their manuscripts. Submission guidelines can be found in the Online Submission menu. Registration and submission are free of charge.

  5. The manuscript length must be between 4 and 10 pages on A4 paper size (210 × 297 mm), including figures and tables, and must not contain appendices. Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) with the following margins:

    • Top: 19 mm

    • Bottom: 43 mm

    • Left: 14.32 mm

    • Right: 14.32 mm

  6. The Title and Keywords must be written in Indonesian. The Abstract and Intisari (Abstract in Indonesian) must be provided in both Indonesian and English.

  7. The title should contain approximately 15 words, using Times New Roman (TNR), 12 pt, bold, single-spaced, centered, with 6 pt spacing after. If the title is considered too long, the editor reserves the right to modify it without changing its meaning and without prior approval from the author before publication.

  8. Authors are encouraged to write article titles in proper Indonesian according to the Enhanced Indonesian Spelling System (EYD). Foreign words appearing in the title should be written in italic style.

  9. Author names must be written in Times New Roman 10 pt, bold, single-spaced. If there are multiple authors, names should be separated by commas and marked with superscript numbers (e.g., ¹ for the first author, ² for the second author, etc.).

  10. Author affiliation, address, postal code, and email address must be included and written in Times New Roman 10 pt.

  11. Articles must begin with an Abstract and Intisari. Neither section may contain figures or tables. Both must be justified, written in Times New Roman 10 pt, bold, single-spaced, and limited to 250 words maximum. These sections should clearly represent the essence of the entire article.

  12. Keywords must consist of 3 to 8 terms, separated by commas, justified, written in Times New Roman 10 pt, single-spaced. Keywords should be carefully selected to reflect the article's concepts and improve accessibility.

Manuscript Body Requirements

  1. Figures and tables must be centered. Large figures or tables may span both columns. Any figure or table wider than one column should be positioned at the top or bottom of the page. Color figures are permitted. Figures must be numbered using Arabic numerals. Figure captions should use Times New Roman 8 pt. Single-line captions should be centered, while multi-line captions should be justified. Captions must be placed below the corresponding figure.

  2. Mathematical equations must be clearly written, numbered sequentially, and accompanied by the necessary explanatory information.

  3. Page numbers, headers, and footers must not be used. All hyperlinks and bookmarks will be removed. If an email address or URL must be referenced in the article, the complete address should be typed using a standard font.

  4. Citations and references must follow the IEEE referencing style.

  5. Citations must be numbered sequentially in the format [1], [2], [3], ... according to the order of appearance in the manuscript.

  6. References from Wikipedia, personal blogs, and non-scientific websites are not permitted.

  7. Primary references should preferably be published within the last five years.

  8. More detailed writing instructions can be found and downloaded from the “Template” menu on the journal website.

  9. Manuscripts must be written in a two-column format with a 4.22 mm (0.17") space between columns, justified alignment, Times New Roman 10 pt, and single spacing. Margins should be:

  • Top = 19 mm (0.75")

  • Bottom = 43 mm (1.69")

  • Left = Right = 14.32 mm (0.56")

Article Structure

  1. The article must contain four main sections:

  • Introduction

  • Main Content (Methodology and related sections)

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

An Acknowledgment section may be included after the Conclusion. References must appear at the end of the manuscript.

The section titles Introduction and Conclusion are mandatory. The Main Content section should describe the research methodology, although the heading does not necessarily need to be named “Method” or “Methodology.” Results and Discussion may be combined into one section or presented separately.

Heading Styles

  1. A maximum of three heading levels is allowed:

Level 1 Heading

Level 1 headings must be written in small capitals, centered, and numbered using uppercase Roman numerals. The sections Acknowledgment and References should not be numbered.

Example:
I. INTRODUCTION

Level 2 Heading

Level 2 headings must be italicized, left-aligned, and numbered using uppercase letters.

C. Heading Section

Level 3 Heading

Level 3 headings must be italicized and numbered using Arabic numerals followed by a right parenthesis. The heading must end with a colon (:). The content should continue in the same paragraph immediately after the heading.

Example:
1) Heading Section: The text begins directly after the heading in the same paragraph.
