PEER REVIEW POLICY

All manuscripts submitted to PROSTIK (Prosiding Teknologi Informatika dan Komputer) must align with the journal's focus and scope and adhere strictly to the Author Guidelines.

Initial Screening

The submitted manuscripts must demonstrate scientific merit or novelty relevant to the field of Information Management and Computer Engineering. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are strongly encouraged to use plagiarism detection software prior to submission to ensure the originality of their work. The editorial team conducts a rigorous similarity check using Turnitin to ensure that all submissions meet the journal’s standards.

Peer Review Process

Research articles submitted to PROSTIK will undergo a double-blind peer-review process by at least 2 (two) or more independent expert reviewers. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in areas such as:

  • Information Systems and Management

  • Computer Engineering and Networks

  • Software Engineering

  • Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

  • Information Technology Applications

Reviewers provide constructive, scientific, and valuable feedback to improve the quality, technical accuracy, and clarity of the manuscript.

Final Decision

The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of an article is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers' recommendations and the editorial board's evaluation.

The publication of accepted articles—including the scheduling and the sequence of publication—is determined by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account:

  1. The date of acceptance.

  2. The thematic relevance of the issue.

  3. The geographical distribution of the authors.
